When the casters are imported and exported, they will be packaged. Everyone knows that they are neatly sealed and packed on pallets. These seem to be ordinary pallets. But different from ordinary trays, these trays are fumigation trays.
In the international trade of import and export of casters, countries implement compulsory quarantine systems on imported goods in order to protect their own resources. The wooden packaging fumigation tray (disinfection) is a compulsory measure taken to prevent harmful pests from harming the forest resources of the importing country. Therefore, for export goods containing wood packaging, the wood packaging must be detoxified before shipment. Fumigation of the tray (sterilization) is one of the methods of detoxification.
Caster tray
There are currently two main fumigation treatment methods, one is thermal fumigation and the other is chemical reagent fumigation.
For thermal fumigation, when wood packaging is processed, the wood center temperature should reach 56 OC and keep it for at least 30 minutes. For chemical reagent fumigation, wood packaging must be fumigated in a closed place under the prescribed dose of methyl bromide and other fumigants for at least 16 hours. Then place it in a ventilated place to reduce the concentration of the fumigant below the safe concentration.
After any of the above treatments, on the visual position of each product in the wooden packaging, it is best to mark the front and back of each product with a clear and permanent mark. This mark needs to be approved by the International Plant Protection Convention. Approval to prove that the wood packaging has been treated as prescribed. A mark must include the IPPC special mark, the ISO standard country code, the unique number issued by the country’s plant protection agency to the wood packaging manufacturer, and the letter abbreviation representing the processing method. Fumigation tray products generally meet the entry and environmental protection requirements of countries around the world, and can be directly cleared in the importing country without any formalities. Only the United States and Canada must issue an official fumigation certificate.
These fumigation trays have some other requirements besides fumigation treatment:
1. Wooden packaging must not have bark.
2. The wooden packaging processed by the fumigation wooden box (sterilization) should be shipped as soon as possible, and should be stored separately and separated from other untreated wooden products and wood materials.
3. The validity period of the fumigation wooden box (disinfection) certificate is 21 days.
Caster pallets and wooden boxes are products that are used in the import and export of casters. Although this is only used for packaging casters, we must be careful; in terms of caster products, we not only do high-quality casters, but also Be meticulous in all aspects of casters, so that caster products will go farther and farther and become more and more popular with customers at home and abroad;
