Currently, there is no national standard for the production of metal shopping carts. There are only some corresponding standards for the production of strollers. Some supermarkets provide strollers for customers to refer to this standard, but not for ordinary supermarket trolleys. There are only a few common safety standards for child injuries caused by supermarket trolleys.
At present, many supermarkets do not have corresponding national standards when using supermarket trolleys, and even industry standards and local standards are in an undeveloped state. However, most companies have their own standards.
Through inquiries, it is found that the current domestic supermarket trolley manufacturers divide supermarket trolleys into European, American, Japanese, and Australian types. Generally, there are several types, but the types point to one style and not to the standard.
In addition to the lack of relevant production standards, the hygienic standards of supermarket trolleys have not been clearly stipulated. The hygienic condition of supermarket trolleys mainly occurs in the circulation link, but they are not supervised by the health department. Therefore, the current national sanitary standards do not stipulate the sanitary conditions of supermarket trolleys. How the supermarket cleans the trolley, how long the episode cycle lasts, and what hygiene standards it should meet are all questions of self-regulation.
